FOX Censors Sally Field: “If Mothers Ruled The World”
by Pamela LeaveyFOX censored Sally Field’s acceptance speech tonight at the Emmy’s as she took a moment to pay tribute to the mother’s of the troops:
“Surely this [award] belongs to all the mothers of the world,” she stated. “May they be seen, may their work be valued and raised. Especially to the mothers who stand with an open heart and wait. Wait for their children to come home from danger, from harm’s way, and from war. I am proud to be one of those women.”
Field’s continued saying, “If mothers ruled the world, there wouldn’t be any god -” and the FOX’s “Emmycast cut off her sound and pointed the camera away from the stage so viewers would be distracted.”
Chopped off were the words “god-damned wars in the first place.”

Field on being censored: ‘Good! I don’t care!’
“Oh, well. I’ve been there before!” Sally Field just said back in the press room when asked what she thought of being censored on the Emmycast.
“Good. I don’t care. I have no comment other than, ‘Oh, well.’ I said what I wanted to say. I wanted to pay homage to the mothers of the world. And I very very seriously think that if mothers ruled the world we wouldn’t be sending our children off to be slaughtered.”
When she was pressed for further comment, she added, “Too bad. That’s a shame. And I think I probably shouldn’t have said the ‘god’ in front of the ‘damn.’
“If they bleep it, oh, well. I’ll just say it somewhere else.”
And for the record, O’Neil points out: “In the FCC ruling over Bono swearing at the Golden Globes in 2003, the phrase “god damn” was specifically addressed and decreed not to be profane. See the ruling — CLICK HERE.”
So there you have it readers, you can say “god damn” on TV, but you can’t say “god-damned wars” without the propaganda Republican Noise Machine’s chief network, FOX censoring you!

Fox CENSORING anti-war opinions?
You mean like the way that they ignore big stories that are embarrassing to the GOP?
Like the way that this week’s DC protests have been ignored and quashed by virtually all the mainstream media?
Perish the thought.
Just remember: if you can’t get along with the Ministry of Truth, they’ll have to have you sent over to the Ministry of Love, for a little “room 101.”
It is very sad. But I am not surprised. This is only a small example of the censorship, and the twisting and falsification of truth by Fox.
Today much of our “public” media does not tell the complete truth. It makes me sick the way George Bush and “friends” twist the truth to confuse, and lie about whatever they disagree with. We are letting Liberty die a slow death. I need more news and less analysis.
When communicating “the news” please give only the cold hard facts. Do not mix communication of news with opinion. When giving an analysis clearly state this is not news, this is an opinion or analysis of the news.
What can I/we do to save Liberty?
That is of course, my dear “Patriot Act Overlords” only “nonviolent and legal action.” Speak the truth, and not what you want to be true.
