Will Craig Resign? Press Conference at 4:30 p.m. EDT
by Pamela LeaveySenator Larry Craig will be holding a press conference in a few minutes in downtown Boise, Idaho. From ABC News:
His future in doubt, with allies denouncing his behavior and former staffers voicing disbelief at his arrest, Sen. Larry Craig, R-Idaho, will hold a press conference this afternoon that may answer questions about his political future.
Interestingly due to the connection to Mitt Romney’s campaign that was severed yesterday soon after the news broke of Craig’s arrest back in June, we’re seeing a lot of people coming here today via Google searches on whether Craig is Mormon. There’s some discussion on that here in this thread, with readers saying he is not Mormon.
ABC profiles Craig’s career in the article and discusses reaction to the Craig scandal. I’ll update on the press conference as more becomes available.

My god does the perversion never end. I thought Democrats were suppose to be the degenerates and Republicans are morally superior to us. It seems like every month a Republican pervert comes out of the woodwork
He not only declared war on the major paper in his home state, he suggested that he wants to fight his legal case. I thought it ended with his plea, but if somehow he continues to fight legally AND run for re-election, we Democrats should raise money for his legal fund.
