Today’s Reality in Yesterday’s Song

by Stuart ONeill

Like the picture that speaks a thousand words, a song can capture the emotional tenor of a time. In a change here at DemDaily, let’s listen to a song from another time of domestic tumoil and foreign war that speaks to 2007/2008. This is from 30+ years ago and yet we are still fighting the same battles.

Perhaps some of our more impatient brethern will see that any effort is long term. Enjoy a great protest song that speaks to us today.

  1. Not to date myself, but I’m kind of partial to Feel Like I’m Fixing To Die Rag by the Fish.

  2. Darrell

Me too – I wonder if there is a You Tube video of that any where? Probably not.
