Last weekend I traveled up the coast of California with my daughter to visit to University of California campuses, so that she could choose the campus that best suited her. She and I fell in love with Santa Cruz, it’s a naturalist’s dream land. While drivng along the Pacific Coast Highway from Morro Bay to Monterey Bay, I was struck by the vast un-touched land along the coast of California and mused that I hoped it would remain un-touched for a long time to come.
Last week was a busy week, and I had fallen behind on keeping up with Teresa Heinz Kerry’s Blog Tour that The Democratic Daily had been following closely and participated in on April 20. Now, it’s time to play catch up again as Teresa’s Blog Tour is about to come to a close, and make sure our readers have the opportunity to visit the blogs that have participated in the tour and read all of the wonderful interviews with Teresa Heinz Kerry.
The April 21 stop on Teresa Heinz Kerry’s Blog Tour was at the Post Carbon Institute and then on to The Unofficial Kerry Blog on April 22. On April 23 Teresa was back at Culture Kitchen for an interview with Lorraine, followed by a stop at We Love John Kerry on April 24. Next stop on the tour was Violet Voices with Meredith Efken who organized the tour and then Teresa stopped by Cocking a Snook on April 26. On April 27 Teresa arrived at VB Dems and Day 15 of the tour was a stop at Tough Enough. Yesterday Teresa stopped by Liberal Values for an interview with Ron, and finally today she’ll be visiting Freedom’s Fire.
Next, I want to make sure that our readers visit the Blog at JohnKerry.com to check out the interviews with Dr. Julia Brody, executive director of the Silent Spring Institute and Cheryl Osimo, co-founder of The Silent Spring Institute. The Silent Spring Institute was featured in the John & Teresa Heinz Kerry’s new book, “This Moment On Earth,” which is currently in the top 10 on the N.Y. Times bestseller list.
Finally, take some time and watch this wonderful video of Teresa Heinz Kerry’s Women’s Health & The Environment Conference, from Global Village:
