Kerry Bashes Bush at Corzine Rally

Saying it bordered on “criminal negligence,” U.S. Sen. John Kerry blasted the Bush administration’s response to Hurricane Katrina yesterday and urged New Jersey voters to express their own dissatisfaction by electing Democrat Jon Corzine governor.
Kerry made his remarks during a boisterous campaign rally for Corzine at a union hall in Paramus, part of a seven-stop tour of the state by the former presidential nominee to boost Democrats in the November elections.
The Massachusetts senator, who outpolled Bush by 7 percentage points in New Jersey in his failed 2004 presidential campaign, said a Corzine victory would be a rejection of Bush’s handling of issues ranging from Katrina to the war in Iraq. He said the federal response to the hurricane would have been “profoundly” better under him.
“Make them hear what America needs to hear,” Kerry said to loud applause from hundreds of union workers as Corzine stood by his side.
“This is not just a race for New Jersey. People all across the country are going to read the tea leaves. People all across the country are going to listen to your voices as you express them when you go to the polls,” he said. “This is a time for our country to touch its soul again, and you can do that at the ballot box.”
Kerry’s visit came as a new Star-Ledger/Eagleton-Rutgers Poll showed the president’s job-approval rating has plummeted to an all-time low among New Jersey voters, with just 35 percent approving of his performance. In addition, only one in five surveyed said they are “very confident” the federal government could respond effectively should disaster strike here.
The senator’s visit marked the most high-profile and pointed effort yet in the New Jersey Democrats’ strategy of linking Corzine’s rival, Republican Doug Forrester, to national Republicans. New Jersey and Virginia are the only two states in the nation with governor’s races this year.
Sherry Sylvester, Forrester’s communications director, criticized Corzine for campaigning with a “big taxer” like Kerry. She said Bush’s low ratings in New Jersey would not hurt Forrester, who spent yesterday campaigning at street fairs and block parties in South Jersey.
“Doug is an independent voice who has been quite outspoken about the issues he agrees with the president on and the issues he disagrees with the president on,” she said. “This election is about property taxes and reform. … It’s not about President Bush or John Kerry.”
Asked if Forrester wanted Bush to campaign for him, Sylvester said, “Republicans from across the country are welcome” to stump for the GOP nominee.
Vice President Dick Cheney and Karl Rove, the president’s chief political strategist, have joined Forrester at fundraisers for state Republicans this year. Laura Bush was scheduled for another event this week, but the White House postponed that event because the first lady is devoting her efforts to raising money for hurricane victims.
Corzine told reporters it was fair to link Bush to Forrester, who raised $100,000 to help re-elect the president and used Bush’s image in his campaign literature during the GOP primary for governor.
“The philosophical view that my opponent takes with respect to a lot of issues is absolutely consistent with the Bush philosophy,” Corzine said.
Kerry, who has not ruled out another run for the presidency, said his visit to New Jersey had nothing to do with laying groundwork for a 2008 campaign and was instead an effort to help “strengthen the Democratic party.” His schedule yesterday also included events in Morristown and Edison, and two fundraisers for New Jersey Democrats at the Jersey Shore.
“I’ve thought about whether or not it might be possible,” he said of running for president again, “but it’s way too early to be caught up in or even serious about that now.”

Oh this is so nice. I love this…

Not sure what your point it. I doubt anyone here really cares what the Rovians have to say. We all know where they are coming from…
We’ve all already seen how the Bush’s help the Katrina victims. It’s pitiful.
Bush cut wages in the area, while John Kerry sponsors legislation to help victims – http://blog.thedemocraticdaily.com/?p=484
The Kerry’s have donated $250,000 to charities for Katrina – http://blog.thedemocraticdaily.com/?p=493
How much have the Bush’s donated?
It seems that with the turn of events nationally the New Jersey election will be about more than just “property taxes and reform”. We’ll let the residents of NJ decide that though. Not the Rovians.
If Kerry had been on the ball last summer and at least tried to win the presidential race. we would not be in this mess. Too late for tough talk now, Mr. Kerry – you had your chance, but you couldn’t answer the swifties, you were too busy on vacation. I don’t care how much money you donate now, you were not there when we needed you.
Marie;
Kerry is a good man, but was the wrong candidate in 2004. No one in his campaign wanted to take Bush head on. If the shoe were on the other foot, just the hint of impropriety like the bulge on Bush’s back during the debates, would have had the Bushies trashing Kerry unmercifully. That one issue alone should have won the election for Kerry. The swift boat fiasco led to Kerry almost apologizing for his actions in Viet Nam, etc.
Our leader has still not arrived.
Dear Democratic Daily,
I rather have Howard Dean and Rush Holt stumping around NJ with Jon Corzine. Even though John Kerry won the election, he didn’t make any effort to question the fudged election results of the rigged electronic voting machines.
http://www.commondreams.org/headlines04/1106-30.htm
Now is the time to rally NJ voters to expose the blatant corruption and fraud of the Bush Administration and Christine Whitman’s legacy of croney capitalism in the Garden State. We are still paying a $1/month surcharge for our E-Z Passes because of her failed E-Z Pass contractor sweet-heart deal. Our local property taxes this year are up 8%-10% because of Christy’s ballooned State debt service.
I want Rush Holt talking about his Voting Act Reform bill at Corzine rallies. I want Howard Dean talking about government accountability. The time has come to kick ass and take names.
No more business as usual. Where is the Democratic leadership in the Garden State? Any Democrat should easily beat Doug Forrester. Heck I would vote for my pet hamster before I would vote for Doug Forrester.

I understand your frustration but you folks would benefit by trying to understand how the system works. Kerry has had a long highly successful career in politics by being himself and being an expert at what he does. I don’t understand why you continue whining about this. If you don’t like him, that’s fine. But why complain so much to those of us who do? No one is forcing you to support him. He’s not running for anything. He’s doing a fantastic job as a US senator getting legislation through to benefit YOU. Any help he can give to Democrats running now should be appreciated. A lot of Americans around the country like him and he, more than any Democrat I know, is constanly in the trenches.
And I am a citizen of the United Staes and I don’t want a bully for a President. I want a man/woman with dignity to represent my country.
Grace
You’ve already been told that this IS NOT the place to bash Kerry. Take it elsewhere.
Marie
What I said to Grace stands for you too.
Julius
Likewise.
As owner of this blog, and a Kerry supporter, you can all take your dissent against John Kerry elsewhere.
End of disscussion!
Admin,
The kooks sure come out of the woodwork whenever Kerry gives a great speech or makes major news coverage. I wonder why they’re so worrried? ;>
Admin;
Last post here. As i told you days ago, I am worried for my country. Bush has to go sooner rather than later. If you think Kerry is the only one who has any ideas, so be it. Just talk to each other and be happy.
I’ll trust John Kerry when he renounces his oath to Skull and Bones and when he comes clean about the double role he played while in Vietnam Veterans Against the War. The rest of us in that organization were lied to by Kerry who never showed his true colors.
By walking away from the fiasco that was the 2004 election and by failing to challenge Bush at every turn, Kerry has relinquished whatever credibility he ever had as far as I’m concerned.
By trying to eliminate criticism of Kerry you show just how wrong the democratic party is.
That’s why we need a different way in the next election.
You are all shills witting or unwitting.
Bye bye.
The Common Dreams article is what we know in our own bones to be true, but still have not been able to prove in court. Definitely not the rigged Ohio court. No whistleblower has talked or talking about a pattern of manipulation, and we still do not have discovery or inspection of the machines and GEM system of Diebold. Clint Curtis was not enough except to create suspicion of potential software rigging. Many of our party relaxed, thinking it a cakewalk, or Kerry not purist, didn’t vote in the blue states. We didn’t have the popular vote as bragging rights to contest on a hunch.
A reminder to all, the Congressional Black Caucus did not want him to stand in January, and take away the message of disenfranchisement and thinking towards the future.
The GOP did many things to disenfranchise voting and prevent registeration alone. That is their specialty. Their voters don’t mind dishonesty or acknowledge that of their party. I overheard Kerry yesterday at one of the events saying they had the plan, the message, but they underestimated the great amounts of money spent, extent, on the gay marriage and abortion issues, direct mail under the radar. We did not have adequate organizations in most states, and the 527s, like ACT, could not use or share those databases. We need to improve our delivery of votes.
That said, we tried and won, if we consider all who wanted to vote for Kerry/Edwards. With thanks to our new activism born last election we must continue and grow.
I contend if they could 24/7 for three weeks create the Swifties attack, to someone honorable about true events, they could do it to anyone who doesn’t have the benefits of a positive press. They tried twice before without getting traction, so not unrealistic to think they would be similarly unsuccessful.
Most important to me, and to people here, is we see what can be done to fix the problems so we don’t have a repeat. I say we need a more thoughtful approach to how we select our candidates, with understanding not the same works from state to state. We need to be savvy, very big tent, not self-destructive, limit the hissy fits, and not spend our energies bashing the DLC, like DKos.
With a situation of the other side owning everything from the Treasury, all branches of government, most Governorships, the Supreme Court, to a mob-like loyalty, we are in serious trouble. That created the debacle of 2004; the election didn’t create it. Whatever level of charisma or kind one likes, that is an individual reaction and the one thing that most can be destroyed by the opposition’s technique: destroy the other to be disliked more than their guy.
To the poster above, any Democrat running would have made a good President, but to my view, John Kerry is the most prepared, humane and emotionally ready to be president and leader in my lifetime. If someone carrying that much gravitas and true likability, not the media distortion, cannot get elected, then none of our candidates could have succeeded past the fraud.
Let’s get back to business and try to save the world. Too many people and issues are seriously hurting in this country, and are begging to be helped. We can’t wait for the perfect candidate because none exists, or the other side will not allow that perception to carry.
Bye
Until two weeks from today.

Thanks Marjorie, your post much better and nicer than the one I was about to make. Sheesh, and people wonder why the Democratic party has trouble winning elections. Mirror people. Cluelessness is not owned solely by the right.
And skull and bones? lol! Jesus, get a grip. It’s nothing more than a very exclusive fraternity, formed to develop friendships for future networking by young people with either great family connections, those who are deemed likely to exceed in their future professional endeavors in business or politics and often both. Like the eating clubs at PU were. Well at least one I knew of that my friends parents use to manage.

IF Kerry was the wrong candidate for 2004, who would have been the Right one? I don’t mind criticism of Kerry as long as a solution is proposed with the criticism. For example: Kerry should have ignored temptations like Arkansas and spent that time in rural Missouri. Ergo, we would have been better off if Kerry had spent more time in Missouri. No guarantee he would have won the state, but we might have.
Or how about Nevada. Kerry did wonderful in urban and suburban Nevada, but every trip Bush or Cheney made to RURAL Nevada-which provideed Bush with his margin there- should have been followed up by a visit to that same town by Kerry, Edwards, Reid, or some prominent Democrat.
Overall Kerry ran a good campaign, espeically given a majority (51% to be precise) supported Bush’s decision for war at the time of the election. Sure some mistakes were made-I’ve catalouged two here- but I’ve also offered solutions.
Anyway, Kerry won 48.3% of the vote. Given that only 9 of the 28 Democratic candidacies since 1896 have gotten a greater percent of the vote than Kerry did (and 5 of those 9 were FDR’s four candidacies and Johnson in 1964) Kerry actually did better than the Democratic average of the last century or so-the Democratic popular vote average since 1896 is 45.95%).
Of the other 4 Democrats who got a higher percent of the vote in an election only 1!! got more than 1.5% more than Kerry-Jimmy Carter (50.1%) in 1976. Wilson 1916 and Truman 1948 got 49.3% and 49.6% respectively while John Kennedy got 49.7% in 1960.
Matt
It’s very simple actually, I established this blog for two reasons:
1) To provide a place for Kerry supporters to discuss Kerry, without the bashing that occurs on other blogs and forums across the internet.
2) To provide news about what Democrats are doing to make a difference, and to take apart thenews from the Noise Machine.
It’s not about being a shill. There are plenty of people on the internet who are sick and tired of the constant bashing of our won that happens on a daily basis on the internet. It does not solve the problems of the Democratic Party. It only makes it worse.
If you are about trashing and bashing Democrats, there a wealth of blogs and forums that welcome that. This blog does not.

Just to clarify… Kerry was not “on vacation”, when the SB Liars attacked, he was touring the country by train and bus on a campaign tour. He was packing rallies across the country, he was stopping in small towns where hundreds of people (of their own volition, not at organized events) gathered at the side of the train tracks to show their support.
That’s no vacation.
Furthermore evidently you were too busy listening to Rovian talking points to pay attention to what Kerry WAS saying and WAS doing during the campaign, because he DID take on Bush consistently during the campaign.
Obviously you were among those NOT paying attention.
Grace
You’ve repeatedly stated your loyalties here and repeated referred to the past election. Evidently you have not gotten past the primaries.
We feel there is work to be done and if you can’t get past the primaries and come here simply to post veiled digs your not participating in getting the work done, your holding us and the rest of the Democratic party back.
Leave Kerry alone he is tring to get people in office. Delay caused enough mischief to the party we have got to win seats. ITis terrible about Katrena what is next on thier list I see they wont to start another war. for distraction .
Julius Says: September 11th, 2005 at 4:44 am
You should probably tell Howard Dean and Rush Holt that, not us. Jon Corzine was obviously thrilled to have Kerry’s support yesterday, he packed crowds at every event.
Kerry holds a base with in the Democratic party that some will never understand. That base is comprised of sensible, hard working Americans who understand that you get more done by doing the work on the ground than yelling and name calling.
Romelee Says: September 11th, 2005 at 10:13 am
Well said. Thank you. Welcome to The Democratic Daily.
The true unwitting shills are those posting above who are unwittingly working for Rove in repeating their attacks on Kerry.
Rove’s stragegy all along was to demonize Kerry, and it even worked among some Democrats, hurting the party beyond the election.
In Europe, opponents to the government would realize that change does not necessarily come about in a single election. They would stick behind their opposition leader, maintaining a strong opposition between elections and have a leader who could build on the successes of the past election.
By accepting nonsense such as that Kerry didn’t fight Bush, the Skull and Bones stuff, and all the other bogus attacks on Kerry, it denies the Democrats a strong opposition leader and forces us to repeat the same cycle.
If these unwitting Rove shills continue to spread their views, we will be doomed to have anoher losing candidate in 2008, and then another round of how the 2008 candidate was a weak candidate.
Ron
Well said, good points, the voice of reason as always. I hope others wake up to this.
*standing and clapping for Ron’s post*
Beautiful example and perspective of the “hard work” that needs to be maintained for the long haul between what actually happens and what the public perceives actually happened. Never more needed than now, when the public has basically lost the media.
kj,
Yes, the hard work over the long haul is what is needed.
The Republicans are winning elections because they have done the hard work. (Yes, they have also been dishonest, but their dishonesty would not have won elections if not accompanied by a lot of hard work.) While Bush might not like hard work, there are plenty of Republicans who have been working hard for many years to get to where they are.
One advantage Republcians have is that their message is repeated endlessly by their candidates and noise machine, and they don’t waste time attacking their candidates. Once you get into the final weeks or even months of a political campaign, the media just concentrates on sound bites, and prefers to cover the horse race over issues. Republicans have been getting their message out for so long that people can hear a sound bite and be reminded of the entire Republican message. Democrats largely start over every election cycle, following lots of wasted energy attacking their last candidate for the loss.

“I’d rather have Howard Dean and Rush Holt stumping around NJ with Jon Corzine. ”
First of all, EVERYONE down here, was thrilled, THRILLED, to be lucky enough to have Senator Kerry take the time out of his hectic schedule to come down here yesterday so we could get to see him again. Well those of us lucky to get invited sure were. Ours wasn’t a public event like the others were in NJ yesterday. Senator Kerry has been working extremely hard for many candidates and state Dem parties all year. You can bet your ass that Gov. Dean loves JK and really appreciates all his help.
Uh, Rush has been campaigning hard for Corzine. He was also at the Lawrenceville/Princeton event yesterday. I’ve seen Rush (my congressman) at a number of Corzine events so far this year. Hasn’t he been at many of the events you’ve attended? If so, you can bitch to him personally about how they are running Jon’s campaign. I’m sure they’ll adjust everything immediately to your suiting. Or do you not even bother to attend events, phone bank, canvass, recruit volunteers etc and just like to bitch about Democratic candidates, their campaigns and the rest of the party?
Rush Holt and Frank Pallone are co-chairs of Corzine Connection, which is Jon’s grass roots group, which he set up at the beginning of the campaign. Jon, Rush and Frank and many other Dem pols were all there at the kick off meeting this spring at a local politician’s house in Lawrenceville. (Though maybe Rush got held up in DC and couldn’t make that one. Don’t remember for sure at this point. It was a while ago and I’ve seen Rush at tons of events over last year for K/E 04 and for Corzine’s campaign.
Jon insisted from the beginning that his campaign, was going to build on the great strides made during the 2004 election, further developing and growing the grassroots, getting more people involved that hadn’t worked on campaigns earlier. Then keeping them active to work on future Dem local, state and national campaigns. He also appreciates receiving input from them as well. That’s why at the kick off get together this spring, after speaking, Jon asked everyone present to ask him questions, tell him what issues were important to them and also encouraged people to tell him their ideas. Even after that. Jon just hung out for a while so anyone there could come up and chat with him personally one on one. He is a very good man.
“Any Democrat should easily beat Doug Forrester. Heck I would vote for my pet hamster before I would vote for Doug Forrester.”
Yep keep it up. You guys are so f’ing clueless. It’s because of people like you making comments like this. Same type I’m sure you liked to make during the 2004 election concerning Kerry. Nothing like helping the GOP set the MSM conventional wisdom that none of the Dem supporters care about their candidate, just beating the other guy. Morons…
Oh and btw, Forrester actually has quite a few supporters around, he was even Mayor of West Windsor many years ago. WW borders Princeton and Lawrenceville.
But yeah we are going to kick Forrester’s ass. Why, because Corzine has been a great Senator, who will be a great NJ Governor and is the best person to try to get NJ back on track, bring in more better paying jobs and work hard to make it more affordable for folks to live here. And also because Jon has a great volunteer effort going on in Mercer county(and other counties a well I’m sure). Silvio, Laurie, Nick et al have done a great job in Mercer County setting up and running the field offices and recruiting, mobilizing and utilizing all their volunteers.
“I want Rush Holt talking about his Voting Act Reform bill at Corzine rallies. I want Howard Dean talking about government accountability. The time has come to kick ass and take names. blah blah etc”
And I want to ensure John Corzine becomes our next Governor. Until 11/8/05, I want Rush and every other Dem politician campaigning for him doing everything they can to tell people why Jon will make a great governor, as well as doing a little bashing of the national GOP and touching on voting issues. But the last two should NOT be all they are talking about when campaigning for Corzine, or even the major part now. In 2 more months full speed ahead on that. Sorry, Corzine’s campaign wasn’t designed to provide you with entertainment.
BTW, if you were running Jon’s campaign, I have a feeling even HE might lose to your pet hamster.
All,
I also worked for the Kerry effort very hard on the ground and donated some of my hard earned wages. I thought Kerry ran a great campaign, it was not without missteps… there were some flaws, but it was real , and after all we are not perfect. Kerry also won each and every debate, hands down…I do not think anyone other then an extreme Bush apologist would concede other wise. And in the end I was upset that America chose so badly, there are many reasons for this, and fraud may also be one. Also I knew that Kerry’s astute legal mind at the end of the day knew well enough if he had a day in court or not. I do not believe it was political but legal reasoning that formed his decisions about Ohio.
Getting back to what was said about Skull & Bones…what a foolish thing to focus on…stuff done at frat houses, I really don’t think John Kerry has alot of time to waste worring about sophmoric college day antics. As for the Vietnam Vets complaint, well Scott Camile one of the founders, and also one of the Gainesville 8… came out in full support of John Kerry, and Scott is as about as real as it gets…he even called up one of the swiftboat mud slinger’s and confronted him with the fact that he was lying and totally immoral.
That is going the extra mile, Scott had to have been very sincere in his effort to clear J.Kerry’s name. That pretty much cleared up the Viet Vets cloud for me.
I also know John Kerry keeps working hard as he was before he ran, it is absolutly bogus to say elsewise. I researched Kerry’s Senate records, he does not sit around in conference with corporate lobbist’s planning special interest legislation…he is constantly working on issues for average Americans, has been and continues to. Kerry is as as progressive as we could have gotten, while still holding on to the center… and if you have not figured that out by now, well you are a Rovian plant or very naive about national politics. So take Ron’s advice: If you want some progress, stop bashing democratic canidates and help figure out ways to expose the propaganda, rather then add to it’s strength.

My first time to this site. Enjoyed the great comments–thanks.
If as stated above the Republicans run (or own) the treasury, the judicial, the house and senate, the media (swift boating will be prime time all the time next election) AND the voting process, maybe Dems should boycott the process once it’s under way. That is if Fox and CNN and everybody else including Diebold is bought and paid for, why participate in a rigged process? Let the Republicans run a Presidential election essentially unopposed, and let candidates and real journalists expose all the fraud instead of wasting their time in a rigged race. Maybe that would wake up the voters to the problems of a one party rule, a Republican party polluted with religious fanatics, corporate dollars, and anti-democracy shysters.

Senator Kerry, when you told us in Lawrenceville on Saturday that NJ needed to send the national a message, by not just electing Senator Corzine as our Governor but by Jon beating Forrester decisively, did you mean like this? You got it! That’s what we have all been working hard to do in NJ, because we feel the same way. Thanks again for visiting NJ! Feel free to stop by again any time!
note: Last month’s polls had Jon ahead by 10. Also in this latest poll, 42% who chose a candidate did say they might change their minds. Of course 1/2 of those could just as easily be Forrester leaners. Though with Forrester’s current poll number, that would be kinda hard I guess
BTW, it seems the Forrester campaign has completely changed their tune in 1 day from the way they felt yesterday, as noted in the blog posting above. I guess all GOP are flip floppers. Not just flip flopper in chief Shrub.
——–
Corzine was favored by 48 percent of respondents in the Star-Ledger/Eagleton-Rutgers poll published Monday, while 28 percent supported Forrester and about one in five said they were undecided. Among those who said they were likely to vote in the Nov. 8 election, Corzine leads Forrester by 18 percentage points, 49 percent to 31 percent.
~snip~
Forrester on Monday characterized the poll results as a backlash against the Bush administration’s handling of the hurricane relief effort and not a reflection of how voters see him.
“It doesn’t have anything to do with Corzine or me,” Forrester told reporters following an hour long appearance before the Black Minister’s Council of New Jersey.
Corzine, who made a separate appearance before the same group of clergy, welcomed the poll results but quickly qualified his enthusiasm.
“The only poll that counts is Nov. 8. We’re going to work as if we’re five to 10 points behind every day for the next 57 days,” he said.
Corzine also gained ground among independents. The Democrat now holds a 43 percent to 26 percent edge among that group, a major shift from the June survey where Forrester led that group 35 percent to 29 percent. Meanwhile, 81 percent of Democrats supported Corzine and 70 percent of Republicans backed Forrester, about the same as in the previous poll
~snip~
When respondents were asked which candidate would do a better job of tackling a variety of state issues, Corzine also came out ahead in each case, with Forrester coming closest on the issues of reducing property taxes and eliminating public corruption.
Dave from Princeton
Good news! Send America a message! Yes! He’s one smart and awesome guy, JK is.
I saved the photos last night to upload them I don’t know what the heck I did but they saved without the .jpg. So I need to save them again.
Power outage here today – wild thing, someone cut a wire and blacked out half of L.A.! Needless to say I am running behind… as always.
Oh how cute! So these are the lil “Deaniacs” You guys told me about. Entertaining lil creatures are they not? Kinda like walking past the monkey pen at the zoo. See them jump up and down, run in circles, and do back flips. Be careful though, a monkey will throw his own feces at you.
Ok now that I had my fun, lets set the record straight on Howard Dean. If Dean supporters, think that he amounts to a hill of beans in the eyes of the GOP, then I surely hope you don’t burn up on re-entry!!! Dean was a source of entertainment to Republicans. Talk about needing to get a clue. If you get attacked by the GOP, like Kerry did, you have made the big league. Sen. Kerry was attacked in the fashion that he was, because he was a real contender.
Do you wanna really know what us Republicans were saying about Dean? Whenever the friends got together, there was always the eventual “OMG, did you guys see Dean on tv today”? The story would be told for those that did not see it, and the laughter would soon ensue. We never for one minute considered Dean to be a threat!!! But in the other corner, they actually breathed a sigh of relief when the Swift Boat ads came out.
Dean actually had people laughing about how he was a big asset to the GOP. But he didn’t hear it, and the reason he didn’t hear it, is he never shut the hell up long enough to get the message!!! The hollering and screaming like it was a battle cry, only amounted to the last death moans of a dying and wounded beast.
Get on board with the other Dems. and work together. Or you may very well have someone like John McCain, who I despise even more than I do Dean, sitting in W’s throne. Sorry to bash your buddy, but look at where this comes from. Not from someone trying to get the upperhand for their Dem. hopeful. Hope you think about this.
Donnie,
Not too surprising here, just don’t post it on a Dean believers blog. They will waste more time on the issue.
What did the Republicans think of Dean getting the DNC chair? A lot of us are happy with that and what he has been able to do.
As I said, they really don’t feel he is a threat as far as a bid for the White House goes.
