The Taliban Threat

If only George Bush had been serious about fighting terrorism after 9/11, rather than seeking political gain and an excuse to implement previously held plans for Iraq. If he had been serious, he might have concentrated on destroying the Taliban and al Qaeda in Afghanistan (and capturing bin Laden). The New York Times reports on the Taliban threat. Apparently “The Taliban and Al Qaeda are everywhere.” Another mission not accomplished.

Hmmm…
Dubya doesn’t care about al Qaeda and Osama anymore – not sure if he ever really did…
I don’t think he cared about finding OBL either. “There’s a story there….” and one I doubt will ever come to light sad to say.
For anyone interested…
