Bush’s Cleaning Lady Might Get Dumped

The New York Times reports that “Bush’s cleaning lady,” as critics on both the left and right referred to her in just when nominated for the Supreme Court, may be on the way out. Harriet Miers might be removed as White House Counsel. It is understandable that Joshua Bolten, the new White House Chief of Staff, is considering this. After all, how seriously can you take a woman who considers George Bush to be the “smartest man I ever met.”

Poor harriet just can’t get a break.
She will forever be the punching bag of the media and the right and since she so loves her dubya she won’t mind.
Sounds like they are looking for scape goats.
Ginny- they are looking and if they can’t find any they are tossing anybody to the wolves.
Still, Harriet shouldn’t have made herself the scapegoat.
