Fair and Balanced Press Briefings

by RonChusid

Fox News anchor Tony Snow is under consideration to replace Scott McClellan as White House press secretary. Snow is also a former speech writer for former President George H. W. Bush.

Snow might not be a bad choice. He has several years experience at Fox discussing the news with the Administration’s spin and providing right wing misinformation. If he takes the job, will they claim that White Houses press briefings are fair and balanced?

  1. Tony Snow would be the worst possible choice for us, the humble “residers” of Shrubby’s world. Promoting someone from an unabashed wingnut media outlet continues to show how this WH just doesn’t get it OR worst doesn’t care. Why not just bump up someone up from the Communications staff? It’s amazing how no one seems to mind that Faux News is ShrubCo’s personal PR machine. For them to bring an actually Faux “newsman” on board without a second thought shows the continued arrogance of this Admin.

Arrogance from the Bush admin… not them!

There is that pesky issue of who would TAKE the job of being the lier/leaker in chief’s (LLIC?) spokeperson to the press. The insiders know better the kinds of personality disorders they have to deal with.
