Red State Hatred
by RonChusidNow that he’s been exiled back to RedState Domenech blames his firing not on being exposed for plaigerism but for the attacks from leftists. Before Demenech complains of hatred he should first look in the mirror. As I noted earlier, the real problem with his blog was not that it presented a conservative viewpoint but that it spewed hatred towards those who did not agree with him. We see this again in his blog entry as he repeats the typical conservative claim of liberals hating America.
The degree of hatred seen in modern politics is often dated back to the right wing attacks on Bill Clinton. It actually started long before this. I’ve read Human Events, National Review, and other conservative magazines for decades and they were always characterized by a paranoid hatred of liberals as well as the mainstream in this country. Such conservative hatred is seen in work of their most prominent columnists and heard on their talk radio shows.
People such as Demenech who promote hatred should not be surprised when they instill passions in their opponents such as his blog resulted in. Claims of losing his position due to unfair attacks from the left will be believed by those who frequent his blog, but do not hold up.

They do appear to be the great perpetuators of hatred, don’t they.
If we listen to Domenech’s post, it is good that we attacked him because this meant we weren’t bashing America. So where is all the America-bashing that the right wingers claim is present?
During my 20 years as an active Repub (1980-2000), the party went to great lengths to form this lie. There never was liberal bias; but it is easy to plant that thought in the knuckle-draggers who find it really easy to blame someone else for their troubles.
Keep throwing enough crap at a wall and eventually some sticks. Same thing for lies.
