– John Kerry is due on the Senate Floor at approximately 12:30 est. – tune in C-Span2.

– Ted Kennedy gave an awesome floor speech a while ago, the text is available here. He nailed the Republican’s on the use of the Swift Boat PR Team — video here (provided by David Edwards, hat tip to C&L)

– John Kerry is on the Senate Floor right now – cleaning some clocks… Speaking the Truth to Power!

– Mitch McConnell (R) cut Kerry’s floor speech off – demands his time now! Where’s the fair debate?

– Cloture Vote at 4:30 est, 9 Senators have not announced their votes.

– Just received an email from TedKennedy.com on his Alito decision. Nice touch at the end of the email:

– The votes to confirm Alito now stand at 57 YES – 37 NO. This is not the Cloture vote.
