Someone, any comments. Just in to see K.B. Hutchinson extolling Alito. So far, a partisan vote.
Call your Senator and tell the aide that if your senator does not vote against the Alito confirmation that you will never buy from Dominos Pizza again. As you see Dominos pizza has donated money for years to the Republican Party and the Pro life until birth movement.
The best way to stop Republicans in my view comes from boycotting their campaign contributors and lobbyists and hold them accountable for the acts of the Republican Party and punish them if they do not get the Republicans to stop the nomination of Alito.
Also call a local Dominos pizza and tell the store owner that unless the CEO of Dominos Pizza, a hard core Republican and a supporter of the pro life until birth movement, gets either Bush to withdraw the nomination or the senate to reject the confirmation of Alito, you will not ever do business with Dominos pizza.
No CEO wants 50 percent or more of his customer base to disapper along with their own hard earned money.
Tell as many people as you can. Call now. Stop the Alito confirmation.
Send this to your senators and representatives.
Vote NO on confirmation of Alito or I boycott GOP contributor Dominos Pizza.
Increase the minimum wage to $10 an hour and extend unemployment insurance benefits to a year or I boycott GOP contributors Wendy’s, Outback Steakhouse.
Enact an 80 percent coverage prescription drug benefit under Medicare part B with no extra premiums, no extra deductibles,no means tests no coverage gaps or I boycott Eckerd,CVS,Walgreens Pharmacies.
Get Tom Delay to resign from congress or I stop shopping at JC Penney stores (of Texas).
End the war now. Replace US troops with UN troops, or I boycott GE Appliances, TVs, lightbulbs.
Enact U.S. vote by mail with paper ballots counted by civil servants or I boycott Wendy’s (of Ohio).
post this note at your library and supermarket too.
I just updated the post – it seems he’s been pushed back. Shoule be at approx 3:40 est. As soon as I have more I will post it!
While I have your attention, able to share who would be in favor of a filibuster beyond the obvious?
I honestly have not heard who is opposed to it. So far they are all strongly against Alito…
JK on now!
JK talking about Coulter…
What an off the wall reference. At times a little emotional, but difficult mentioning and reading facts to then wrap-up, which he did at times.
People should be very upset. They are imaging permanent one-party rule, maybe through e-voting, and giving it all to the president.
I thought it was odd too, but in reference to control of the Repub Noise Machine, probably not very odd at all.
I’ve been against working for impeachment, as a diversion towards 2006 elections, the business of our country, although the rationale for it always worth mentioning.
I’m starting to feel that is the only way to get rid of them, by taking the stakes up a bit.
Call me crazy, and scared, but I hope better later.
I don’t think impeachment proceedings will happen before the 06 elections unless a few repubs turncoat. There’s so many reasons for it, it’s ludicrous that a few of them have not come forward.
Some days it feels as though we are running into brick walls and not getting any where, other days I see light at the end of the tunnel. Today is a brick wall day!
I’ll have the text and video up in a while from this.
