Senator Ted Kennedy has more experience in the Judiciary Committee than any of the others members. His statement on the Miers’ withdrawal today, speaks of that experience. Harriet Meirs withdrew this as nominee for the Supreme Court. Her nomination seemed ill-fated from the start, with little support from both sides of the Senate.
